01) Konsui

Konsui was the first visual novel I ever made. It was a rushed project that I used to learn Ren'Py. It is not my best work, and not something I am proud of. I enjoy looking back on it as a way to see my improvement.Before I created it for SuNoFes 2024, it was a VN project made using Google slides. As a young kid, it was frustrating to try learning to code. I loved the concept of visual novels though, and I wanted to make my own. The original "game" didn't use any of my own art, and the story was even worse than what the final project eventually became. This is why the story is so rough, and not something that I would write these days.I decided to remake it because I wanted to prove to myself that I could make that dumb little project into reality. I wanted to improve upon it as much as I could and make it something that was playable. The result is the short, amateur game that kick-started my love for reading and making visual novels.Konsui is available for Windows and Linux.

02) Naitemo

Naitemo is a short VN created for NaNoRenO 2025. It follows the adventure of a young robot girl who must travel across a post-apocalyptic world in order to find something she lost.I've had the idea for Naitemo for years. At first it was just a short story that I didn't plan on showing to anyone. I love the idea of robots learning to live without humans and discovering what it means to be alive. After I started making VNs I realized that this story would work perfectly as one. It's nothing spectacular, but I think that the story of Naitemo has the capability of touching the hearts of at least a few people.I wanted to explore a few different ideas. Mainly, with the increasing popularity of AI, the concept that robots might be able to gain sentience. Second, the thought that things created by living beings have traces of humanity and "life" in them. If something was made by a human, does it not have human characteristics?Naitemo will be released on March 31st.
